Fantastic Joesler Sale with Spanish Colonial Finds

MARCH 15 & 16     8:00am-4:00pm

Dear Friends,

This perfectly appointed Joesler home set on five acres near Campbell & River Road.   The house is situated on a hill on a narrow dead end street, so plan to carpool or uber and be prepared to walk a block or more.

The stately home and the grounds with pool and panoramic views beckon and are loaded with treasures.  Grand Scale furnishings include a massive antique pine cabinet, two perfectly primitive corner cabinets, and a collection of choice Spanish Colonial pieces that include but are not limited to a solid 18th c. refectory dining room table with hand forged ornamental trusses and a gorgeous cassone.  If you have a taste for more contemporary furnishings we have pieces that range from shabby chic to custom designer brands.  Stretch out onto an enormous leather and goose down sofa that is soft and supple. More leather is to be found in the handsome pair of Henredon armchairs with ottomans or you can lounge in your new La-Z-Boy reclining sofa.  There’s quality bedroom pieces too, including a wrought iron and wood queen bed and an opium bed. There is a Hoosier cabinet and a French Empire revival breakfront with marble top that is just gorgeous. Outdoors calls with Brown Jordan lounge chairs, bistro sets, accent tables, and heavy metal and stone furnishings.

We have a good collection of wall art, featuring oils by Gerry Metz, Buck McCain, Mark Daniels, plus many prints and lithos.  Jewelry, women’s clothing and designer leather goods by Luchese Cole Hahn, Furla, Dooney & Bourke will dress you up in style.

The estate has an exceptional collection of Native American Baskets and pots, including an Apache burden basket. MAJOLICA! This is an outstanding collection with hundreds of pieces of Etruscan, English, and French faience for your fancy. And if you like Lladro figurines we have a cabinet filled with them and with blue and white ceramics. There is a fun collection of folk art ceramics and a selection of rugs and carpets, from Kilim, Persian, Dhurry, and Native American pieces will floor you.  The crystal and china are original, fun, and ready for your Easter table.  There is a fridge for the leftovers and the usual garden and garage suspects that show up at every sale.

Relax on the porch, take in the view, and contemplate whether the Brown Jordan table and chairs, lounge chairs, or other select pieces would better suit your patio furniture needs.  Bring a friend because we also have a collection of enormous potted plants and flowers that will require two or more to move.

It is a pleasure to present such a fine collection to my fine followers.  You make it happen and you inspire me to raise the bar.

Ciao,

Catherine
