Catherine’s Estates Private Sale in the Skyline Country Club community north of Swan and Skyline.
This is a stately home with beautiful Stickley furniture, European antiques, a Kawaii baby grand piano, an antique cassone, a massive library bookcase with a rolling ladder, Art Nouveau furniture, and so much more! From antique armor, a museum worthy book collection, and vintage pewter, this home is filled with crystal, china, ceramics, porcelains, fine art and fun art.
The artwork includes a 1961 oil by Kimber Smith, a collection of Maxfield Parrish prints, vintage movie posters from the sixties, watercolors, prints, and decorative pieces that will set your home apart. There’s a fine mahogany dining room set with an Eastlake breakfront, Victorian dressers, Arts and Crafts tables and accent pieces, a custom Stickley king size bed with headboard, and a very dapper red leather throne chair. There is a small but choice collection of outdoor furniture, garden art, pottery, and plants.
Rug lovers take note: we have a fine collection of Persian carpets and runners that “run” throughout the house. If you’re looking for something smaller there are delicate needlepoints and antique linen treasures. Speaking of small, there is a small but unique collection of antique tools.
Look around in the three-car garage to shop our collection of contemporary tools, shop equipment, gadgets, and a Whirlpool stainless side by side fridge. The kitchenalia and dishware are first rate. If you are tight on storage, we can offer a kitchen butcher block and steel rolling cart or a fun rolling glass tea cart.
