Save the date for Catherine’s Estates three day sale on ten acres featuring a sprawling ranch house, a casita, & a big blue barn! December 1-3 from 8am – 4pm. Look for our signs during the sale days. Please note that there is no parking on Wrightstown Road so just pull in the driveway. There is ample parking on the 10 acre property.
This estate sale features items from a renowned surgeon and his wife, a former American Airlines flight attendant from the transformative 70s. Their global travels have resulted in an extraordinary collection. Upon arrival at the spacious front porch of the main home you will find two rustic wooden dining tables and colorful Mexican painted chairs. Come inside and hang your hat on an antique oak hat rack and other unique antiques such as a marble-topped marquetry bombe cabinet, bound Harper’s Weekly journals from 1863 & 1869, a vintage 40s wood American Airlines sign, a barrister bookcase, a fine majolica jardinière and pedestal base, and a handsome pair of antique brass andirons.
So far so eclectic, but there is a major theme here and it is shown in the significant collection of Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts pieces. Choose from ceramics, lithographs, metal art, books, bronzes, and more. We have Roycroft copper and brass with inlaid sterling, hammered copper and brass vases, platters, Mostique ceramic pieces, Van Briggle vases, Dannhauer Swiss brass, bronze mermaids and pelicans, a fine majolica jardinière & pedestal base.
Book and illustration lovers, we have a signed 1st edition The Loves of Edwy with a personal dedication by Rose O’Neill. We feature beautiful early illustration art from Maxfield Parrish, Paul Chabas, & peers.

Furnishings range from fine to shabby chic. Don’t overlook a Henredon chair or a sofa that may need reupholstering because the bones are good and they are priced to go! The spacious living room offers three sofas to choose from, including a leather La-Z-boy recliner.
The 4200 square foot house and its collections have been organized into themed rooms: The African mask room, the Western room (think cowboys, branding irons, Native American and Mata Ortiz) the Camera room, the Basket room, and the exercise room, which includes fixed weights, free weights, and a Pilates machine.
We have 25 vintage manganese glass kerosene lamps in varying shades of purple. They’re handy, because power outages happen. Further illumination is to be found with like-new chandeliers, pendant lights, a new in the box ceiling fan light, and a vintage wrought iron candle chandelier.
Artwork includes Picasso’s artist proof litho The Dwarf Dancer, original works by Anthony Klitz, Lawrence Lee, Mark Daniels, David Solie, and a Chinese cork wall carving. Art goes beyond the walls; we have a Remington bronze and a Buffalo Soldier statue. 1976 is a big year here, we have a 1976 Mendocino Whale War poster by Mayhew and a 1976 Cleveland Indians baseball signed by all the usual suspects.
